Courses

All NWACC course listings include a four-letter course prefix and a four-digit course number. The first digit of the course number indicates the level of the course; 0 indicates courses that do not apply towards graduation; 1-2 indicates first or second year course levels (or freshman or sophomore level). Any exceptions to this practice, normally refer to a department specific level course. The final digit indicates the course credit hours. The semester in which a course is typically scheduled to be offered will be included with the course description. Classes listed as (On Demand) will be offered on an as needed basis.

NWACC enforces all eligibility rules as published in the current course catalog. Students must provide proof hey have satisfied eligibility rules by submitting placement test scores, successful completion of an eligibility rule course with a grade greater than or equal to C, or submission of transfer work on a transcript. If you have any questions regarding course eligibility rules, please contact the appropriate academic department.

Some of the courses listed may not transfer to all four-year institutions. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the student planning to transfer to check with an advisor as to the transferability of specific courses.
