Continuation of advanced drawing with emphasis on human figure studies.

Pre-Requisite
Completion of ART 1303  with a grade greater than or equal to C.

Students completing this course will:

  • Demonstrate facility in quick and sustained gestures of the human figure.
  • Demonstrate problem solving ability as it relates to proportion and perspective of the human figure.
  • Demonstrate understanding of compositional matters involving the human figure.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in shading the human figure.
  • Demonstrate basic proficiency in portraiture including the self-portrait.
