Learning Outcomes
Students completing this course will:

Recognize about 35 families (represented in AR) and their characteristics.
Identify flowering plants of the NW AR region.
Use binomial nomenclature and classification, both the current status and some historical knowledge.
Apply their understanding of the principles of scientific investigation to comprehend, evaluate and solve problems of identification of plants.
Identify and use information to further knowledge of identification of flora of AR.
