Learning Outcomes Students completing this course will:
- Recognize about 35 families (represented in AR) and their characteristics.
- Identify flowering plants of the NW AR region.
- Use binomial nomenclature and classification, both the current status and some historical knowledge.
- Apply their understanding of the principles of scientific investigation to comprehend, evaluate and solve problems of identification of plants.
- Identify and use information to further knowledge of identification of flora of AR.
