ENGL 2513 - Craft of Fiction Description In this course, students will explore the form and theory of fiction through an investigation of the elements of fiction and explore these elements in their own writing.
Pre-Requisite Completion of ENGL 2023 or ENGL 2033 with a grade greater than or equal to C.

- Deconstruct a professionally published creative work using the elements of fiction
- Analyze their own creative work using the elements of fiction
- Understand and incorporate the vocabulary unique to the study of the craft of fiction in their academic writing
- Incorporate this vocabulary into the workshop environment for peer review as well as self-assessment of all creative work.
