FIRE 1104 - Fire Fighter I Description Continuation of the knowledge and skills necessary for students to be certified as a Firefighter at the second level of certification based upon NFPA Standard 1001 - Firefighter Professional Qualifications. Upon successful completion of FIRE 1104 and 1114 a representative of the Arkansas Fire Academy will test students. Prerequisite: FIRE 1104.

• 1. Written exams passed with a minimum 70% over all cognitive objectives based on NFPA Standard 1001, Firefighter II level.
• 2. Observation and clinical/practical evaluation of mastery of all psychomotor skills required based on NFPA Standard 1001, Firefighter II level.
• 3. Observation of students synthesizing the knowledge and skills, along with the concept of the importance of a qualified entry-level Firefighter and the life and property saving aspects of the profession.
