MUSI 1603 - Music Theory I Description Principles of notation, rhythm, meter, triads, dominant sevenths, non-dominant sevenths, tonality, major and minor scales, key signatures, intervals, cadences and four-part writing. Meets three hours each week. It is recommended that this be taken in conjunction with MUSI 1621 .
