THTR 2523 - Musical Theatre Production


Description
Students will participate in rehearsals for live performances of an American musical. Singers/actors will be cast from auditions. Technical theatre assignments in stage management, lighting, scenery, costumes, makeup, and marketing will be assigned.

Performers will complete a character analysis and keep a journal regarding work on character outside of rehearsals. Technical theatre personnel will assemble a portfolio of work on the musical and a journal regarding work completed outside of mandatory meeting times.
